Intermediate - Part 3 (units 14 & 15)

Learn NZSL (New Zealand Sign Language) online via MySign!

You will have an online class with qualified NZSL tutor to teach you and it is fully interactive - just online! 8 weeks online course starting Wednesday, 24th January (postponed from Jan 17th) 6.30pm - 8.00pm. This is suitable for students who have completed approximately 60 hours of NZSL or have completed Intermediate (Part 2) online or Level 2b onsite.

Dates: 24/1, 31/1, 7/2, 14/2, 21/2, 28/2, 6/3 and 13/3

Course Fee:  $150 for full 8-week class, including weekly e-handouts/homework

Level: NZSL Intermediate - Part 3 (Level 2, Units 14 & 15)

By the end of course, learners will:

Unit 14 - All Abour Services

• Describe needs for everyday service (e.g. Repair car, electrician, vet)
• Discuss services and utilities provided   (e.g. Prices, experiences, quality)
• Express and respond to concerns and advice about services
• Make suggestions and recommend services

Unit 15 - Health and wellbeing

• Explain common illnesses and treatments
• Discuss and give opinions about common health and wellbeing issues
• Recount simple personal experiences about health and wellbeing

Important Notes:

• Registering online secures your place in the course. A minimum number of students is required; the course may be postponed or canceled if this threshold is not met. Please review our cancellation policy.
• Upon completing registration, you will receive a confirmation email with essential details, including the Zoom link to join the course. Check your spam folder if you don't receive the email.
• All you need is a computer/laptop with a webcam and internet connection. Please note that tablets and mobiles are not recommended for online learning.
• A Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the end of the course for those who attend at least 80% of the classes (6 out of 8).
